  Worst service I have ever recieved!!! Visited today with my two year old daughter and paid nearly £15 for a small portion (was very small) of cheesy chips and cod and my daughter had scampi. I had no drink. My daughter's meal tasted okay. But my cheesy chips and greasy fish tasted horrible incomparision to hers. I immediately approached the staff and asked if my chips could be replaced. The reaction I recieved from the three staff was shocking to say the least. They took it very personally that I did not like the food and were very rude! They completely refused to give me fresh food and said that I was the problem not how the food was cooked. I explained that I felt the cheesy chips had been left in the microwave too long and got a very hostile response. The overreaction from the staff and their rude and sarcastic responses were unwarranted and ruined my families day out. I have never been spoken to like this by waiting staff and the whole team need customer service training, including the owner. All of this was infront of other diners who later approached me and said they will not return to this establishment. The staff didn't even look at my food before immediately saying I was the problem not the chips. I was rudely asked "what my problem was?" Told "I came in with an attitude" when I was fine. The owner even said all food put out is always 100% fine and it's the awkward customers that like to complain. I work nearby in retail and customers sometimes return things. You cannot be perfect all the time. I would NEVER return here and hope the staff learn something about their attitudes. I feel like I've been robbed of my money since I was served disgusting food that was fit for the bin.
